Online Casinos Ratings - Most Americans Want a Regulated Online Casinos Industry
Even if the American senate passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, it does not mean that it is the general will of the majority of the US public that online casinos be banned altogether. It is hard to believe that most of the senators casting their vote were even aware that the Safe Ports Act, which they thought they were voting on, included a clause to create Prohibition of online casinos. The anti online casinos act was tagged onto the unrelated bill in the last few hours of the session and many feel that the move was sneaky and underhanded.
This is clearly a case of a minority dictating the lifestyle of the majority and the truth is that the majority wants a regulated online casinos industry. This fact was well publicized through polls and surveys before the bill was passed and it can surely be seen by the anger and disappointment after it was passed. Americans want their simple and well deserved civil right to gamble at online casinos if they so wish. However, more than that, they want to gamble at online casinos that are reputable and are answerable to the laws of the United States. This simply cannot happen if Prohibition kicks in.
Americans want answers to underage gambling problems and to know that their children won’t have access to these sites. An unregulated industry will be a free-for-all, with shady online casinos springing up all over the web, making it easy for minors to play illegally. Americans want a regulated industry and nothing else.
